Cemetery of the Parish church, 8th–19th century

North of the former parish church Saint Urban, the associated parish cemetery was located. During excavations accompanying the construction of the Rhine Boulevard, numerous medieval as well as modern burials were documented. The oldest stone-lined tombs known today probably date to the 11th or 12th century.
